Meet our Principal
Principal Perspectives
The Bremerton School District kicked off a new video series for the 2025-26 school year, highlighting the perspectives of our school principals. 🎬 Each week via the District's Facebook and Instagram pages, our community gets an inside look at what makes our schools special, straight from the principals themselves.
We invite you to view Ms. Powell’s latest Principal Perspective video. You can view all of our Principal Perspective videos on the District's YouTube channel!
In this week's Principal Perspective video, West Hills STEM Academy Principal Kimberly Powell highlights how students and staff at West Hills STEM Academy come together to eat in their House Club Houses — creating daily opportunities for connection, belonging, and problem-solving across grade levels. With the House System (In place at Kitsap Lake, West Hills & Crownhill), every student and staff member is “sorted” into a “house”—a smaller community that fosters belonging, teamwork, leadership, and positive school culture.
